I am sorry to hear about Max's eye -- I hope that it heals quickly. I'm glad that he was so brave at the vet during the testing. That shows just how resilient he is! My dad's German Shepherd just went to the vet yesterday for this same problem. His eye has a bacteria infection along with a scratch so he's on a few different drops; he has to go back in two weeks to ensure its healed properly.
