 Camping with Pups
Hi All!
I just thought I'd share our recent experiences of (semi) camping with our four small dogs.
We stayed at the KOA in Mount Pleasant, SC and rented a 1 room cabin for the week. It worked out wonderfully. These cabins are all wood so there is nothing to be ruined. They do have heat, air conditioning, and cable.
The girls loved it! We were able to take lock the screen door so they could look out and watch the squirrels run by. Also, because you are detached from everyone else, you are able to leave them in the room to go for dinner and what-not.
The worst part was that you have to walk outside to use the communal bathrooms but it's the price we had to pay to travel with all four of our girls.
We enjoyed our time and would highly recommend it as it's my understanding that almost all KOA's allow pets and some have cabins with bathrooms! They even gave us treats upon check-in and allowed the girls on the hayride! |
