I would never have though anything about the hawks and my yorkie, we live in a suburban neighborhood on a lake and the other day I saw a hawk perched on my fence, I was enthralled with him and wanted a picture, never thinking he was watching my baby Leo, then today my dog ran down to the lake and all of a sudden that hawk came circling around and by the time I reached the dog (running at full speek) the hawk swooped down. Needless to say my 4.1 lb yorkie would not have known what hit him! It was so scary. Now I am going to sadly have to put him on a leash to take him in the back yard
He loves to play with the soccer ball too.
