You're absolutely right. Most airlines have strict rules on shipping dogs when the temperature is below a certain point or above a certain point.
That being said, I strongly suggest that a breeder be found closer to the OP home. Get to know the breeder. You buy the breeder first, then the puppy.
I would definately want to meet the breeder first.
There are people that work for the airlines and fly puppies in cabin......These people are well versed on the care of a new puppy.
