 possible food allergy???
Im not sure if my baby is having a food allergy but a cpl days ago he broke out in this rash all over his belly and legs. Hes been itching at his paws and feet and licking like crazy so i took him into the vet. They couldnt give an exact diagnosis and thought possibly it could be a secondary irritant like fabric softner i had used on my sheets that i dont usually use or they said maybe bacterial infection. I decided to take him home and wash him in his sensitive oatmeal shampoo incase it was a secondary irritant and it seems to be calming down. ive been giving him benadryl and although the rash seems not as bad hes still itching and licking alot. Im thinking its a food allergy. He has always eaten this particular food but i have heard they can suddenly develop them even after years. sooooooo my ? is whats a good hypoallergenic food to feed your dog to try and avoid this???? |
