I think the coupler we have is about 12"....but...here's the deal here...After getting the coupler and attempting to use it with Reno and Louis, I found it's easier to walk them without one. In fact, I can walk 5 at a time now with no coupler and keep the leads fairly straight. With the coupler they seemed to almost fight against each other walking. It's funny because they have no more room without the coupler but something about being connected that closely to the ground bothered them. Connected up higher by just leads in my hand, doesn't affect them as much.
lol...I'll send you our coupler....save your money...or, spend it on something else they need.
