Okay, Lucy is 13 weeks old and is not fully vaccinated so she obviously cannot go somewhere to get a trim, but the hairs around her eyes are too long and her little hiney needs to be buzzed again b/c I noticed that it is starting to mat. I was wondering how old your yorkie was when they got their first haircut? And what should I do in the mean time? I keep saying I am going to trim the hair around her eyes whenever she is sleeping, but I am so nervous that I will poke her eye. She is a very light sleeper due to those big ole ears that let her pick up every little sound. Any tips? And will little nail scizzors work for around her eye? I figured that would be better than a bigger pair but I have never done this before!
