I'll try putting the leash on and keeping it on him inside. I don't think he'll bark though. It seems to be outside + leash. Also, he barked continually at the vet's office and it was embarrassing. I chose to pick him up to quiet him down, although I know that's not the right thing to do. But being in public I had to.
