Hang in there. I got my first Yorkie in June when he was 5 months old. Even though his history was not sad like your little Chloe's, he was pretty timid for the first 2 or 3 weeks. I was worried that he would never be secure.
It's hard when a dog doesn't give you "feedback" or even seems so sad. Also, don't be surprised if she makes progress and then regresses from time to time. She's been through a trauma. Once she feels safe again, you will have an amazingly devoted little compaion. |
