I am chuckling as I read your posting. I have a 10 month old and can't believe the energy he has. I haven't had a puppy in a long, long time. My dogs for some reason have lived a long life which I am thrilled about. But our pup, keeps moving, and getting into trouble, like into my recycling bin, pulling bulbs off the Christmas tree, etc and my husband and I just laugh and say: he is only a puppy! We do walk him though, play with him and both of those things help a lot. My experience: puppyhood lasts at least until they are 2 years old. We are fortunate to be home with him all day.
