Reading all these post make me so glad that we own our home.
I did live in a rental villa before I got married but most of that time I did not have pets and they had a strict no pet rule anyway. If it was not confined to a cage (bird, fish, lizard, gerbal) then it was not allowed. About 2 months before we moved I got a kitten. She is getting up in age now but she has always been so quiet. They never knew she was there.
