I imagine they probably would then.
They'll eat canned food or raw from a dish, on the rare occasions I feed that. They just prefer to eat their kibble from the floor for some reason. If I don't leave a little kibble on the floor when I fill the food dishes, they'll go to the bowl and get a big mouthful then drop it all on the floor themselves so they can eat it their way.
I've tried ceramic bowls, metal bowls, saucers, etc. They want their food on the floor.
