Do you dry her with a hair dryer or let her dry on her own, I hold Nelly in a blanket until she is ready to get down on her own, should I dry her with a dryer would that make her fur look better? This is my first yorkie so I am not sure of how to quite take care of her fur yet, any help would be appreciated. | Have you had her groomed yet? Sometimes that makes a world of difference in their appearence. I let the weather determine whether or not I use the blow-dryer on Olivia. In the hot summer months, I let her air dry because I figure it keeps her nice and cool. Now that it's cooler, I use the blow dryer on her. If you do use the blow dryer, turn it on and hold it a ways away from your baby at first to let him get used to the sound of it and the feeling of the air blowing on him. I still hold the dryer about a foot above Olivia to dry her because I want to make sure that it's not too hot for her. She love it- when it's cold, she lays right down while I blow-dry her hair. |
