Sympathy I don't know, but the person the dog is attached to, a BIG YES, when "their" person is ill, how ever or what ever is wrong. Episodes of illness, seem to come and go for me and DH and I have learned to watch Sprocket, sometimes he is a better barometer than you would think. As for the throwing up, as concretegurl said a pepto, I give 1/2 a tab, per the vet, crushed up in some cottage cheese, Sprocket is 10lbs. You know how to pinch the skin to test for dehydration, just make sure your baby has lots of water, my vet says that as long as they drink they are ok and can go 4 days w/o food. WE on the other hand can't let them go that long only 3 days. My vet is so funny. I hope your husband is better, small words I know but I hope it happens for you both.
