Kindle wi-fi/3G here! Awesome! I love mine. I too am an avid reader. I was disappointed that is wasn't backlit for nighttime reading but I remedied that by buying the Amazon cover...(has the built-in light) I went with the black one as it matches the Kindle the best.
No glare problems during the day.
