I have Merry Christmas in my signature. I wish everyone, regardless of their religion, a merry Christmas -- the day I celebrate as the birth of my Savior. I am not trying to convert -- I am just wishing them a Merry day -- the day of Christmas. I would be pleased if a Jewish member wished me a Happy Hannakah or if an African American wished me a Happy Kwannza or even if an agnostic or atheist wished me a good day.
People need to quit thinking of it as we are trying to say everyone is a Christian. It is just as a person, I want to wish others a happy day on December 25th, which is my Christmas. It has lpong bothered me that people feel pressured into only saying Happy Holidays. Stand up for whatever you believe and wish those you want a good day on a day that is special to you.
JMO -- print it off and along with $4.85 you can get a Gingerbread Latte Grande at Starbucks --- Ummmmmmm good! |
