I just spent 20 to buy an infant playpen like bed that is more narrow than normal and it has a bottom zip area that goes the length of the bed. I made a little mattress and now I have a set of bunks for my other 5 yorkies. Little Jenny is so little that I order the Pennys bed for her. Important note, on one side of the portable crib, the side goes down a little so the bed can be put next to a regular bed for a real mom to tend the baby and you can leave the one side down a little on the top "bunk" about 5 inches. It is just right for my yorkies to get on top easily and the ones too far or insecure like the bottom area. I really like that it is more narrow than a normal portable crib. It is perfect for Yorkies. As the material gets soiled. I am going to make alternate "doggie" theme material to put on it so I won't have to worry about it so. I am glad it is warming up today, 30 is low for here.
