Duke is fine with the cold as we are in North Jersey but it's been way too cold here too. I haven't taken him out this week but he is wee wee pad trained. I use a few small tennis balls and throw it around the apartment for him to run. We do this nightly so he can get some exercise and get his energy out.
I think running in the hallway is a good idea if you can do that, for some exercise.
Let's hope for a not so cold winter.
