Long story short....I applied for Toby through his foster mom & the Gateway Yorkshire Terrier Club of St. Louis on December 1st and had to wait a week to see if she felt I was a good fit for Toby. I found Toby on Craigslist and the price was UNBELIEVABLE! I was very hesitant but couldn't resist his cute little face in the picture that was with the ad. It was the LONGEST week of my life. It was a 1 1/2 hour drive and the whole way there I was having second thoughts. I kept thinking something had to be wrong with this dog to be so cheap and twice I almost turned around. I think the only thing that kept me going was the fact that he was a puppy mill rescue and I wanted to give him the forever home he deserved. All in all he has been a very healthy dog and I'm very fortunate to have him in my life.

Once I got to his foster mom's home and saw what a good life she had given him for the past year I knew it was meant to be that he go home with me. I asked her why she was selling him so cheap and she said she wasn't trying to make money off him, she wanted to make sure he went to the right home.

I stay in touch with her and she tells me to this day that I am Toby's angel. But I think it's the other way around, he's my little angel!

The first picture is the picture that stole my heart in the ad and the second picture is of him in his new holiday duds from his SB he got last week. This was the BEST $75 I ever spent in my life.......

What a lovely gift you have given Toby and he has given you!! I truly believe we get the ones we are supposed to get and have in our lives. I tsounds like your life has already been enriched by this little guy ~ he is amazing looking by the way! Love the ears!! ♥
