I had an older pup go blind and he adjusted pretty well.... I just had to always make sure to keep my cellar door shut...I think because when he could see he never used it and when he went blind he had no idea there were stairs there...
I know your vet said no supplements, as your vet is right they will eventually go fully bling...but we had a foster dog with PRA and they did reccomend a vitamin for him....
