Hi - thanks for answering. The two streaks are about three inches long and to the side of the tail. I'll try to get a better picture when we're out walking - she wouldn't lift her tail for the pictures at all. I don't think this would be the part that would be trimmed, but I'm definitely not an expert (at all!!).
