Mine get a bath every week. They also go to the groomer once a month for a bath and to have nails clipped if needed. Two of mine are in really shot short cut's because they have the type of coat that is cotton. Now my newest rescue she has long silky hair. I brush her at leat twice a day.
All eye boogies and faces are washed evey morning.

I use two different kinds of shampoo, I switch them out. PetSilk and Milk Sheen. I also use the spray leave in conditioner for brushing out as well.
