Years back i paid about $1600.00 for my boy and it sure has been the very best decision i ever made. I know also that a lot of times a good breeder will give you some break if you ask for a reasonable one and present as a perfect pet owner who is responsible and have your life all together and will be able to afford insurance during the lifetime of your pet. I would , again, stay away from breeders that cut corners and have little knowledge of the whole responsibility involved with breeding. I am so glad i researched before I got my Maxx and he is just perfect.
Despite the budget you may have available i encourage you to go to a great breeder, you will see and be able to compare the level of knowledge and responsibility between breeders and perhaps that will give enough to make a sound decision when choosing your breeder. As they say here you buy your breeder first.
Good Luck anyways.
