At a craft store (I got mine at walmart I don't know if they still sell them) I got a mesh bag of very large smooth river rocks. Those are what I put in Bear's the food bowl to slow feeding down. Helps prevent the deadly bloat. The rocks are smooth and washable. The large ones are pretty big and they are pretty heavy and have to be eaten around. Works pretty good.
