My question--not sure it made sense; Before bringing the 2nd dog home, is it necessary for the current dog to meet the new one on neutral ground?? Meaning I think it would be beneficial to see if they get along before purchasing the new dog but it is a must???

I have found a potential great pup who meets all my criteria, but I don't think we can have Snick meet him as it would be over a New Years Eve mini vacation. Do you think it would be ok to get him even if they have never met before??

Snickers is a lover...he gets along with so many pups. Females intimidate him a little though. According to the new pup's owner--he is also a lover.
