 Scratching and Itching?!
Alittle history first:
We just moved to Va from Florida. Sadie is my female yorkie who is 3 years old. We just sold the last of her three puppies that were two months old. She is on Advantix for flea and tick prevention. My question is, why is she itching and scratching so much like she has fleas and she doesn't?! I've noticed her under belly skin is a black color, which I don't remember it being that color before. Is it just dry skin? She is obsessed with scratching I think because she does it off/on all night and during the day. She is laying in my lap right now sleep, which is normal for her, but for a dog who does not have fleas, she sure is itching like she does. Any help would be appreciated. |
