I am so very sorry to hear this- I know you must be devastated!
Car safety is really so important for pets and something that is overlooked by so many people.
It is also important to have a carry bag, crate, or at least leashes close by and easily viewed by emergency crew and also a card of some kind indicating an emergency contact for your pets- this way if you are not conscious, they have someone to contact who would come and get your pets for you- or at the very least the number of your vet so they would at least be boarded somewhere you trust and not taken to a shelter to be held. |
