There is also an age requirement as to when pups are required to have their rabies vaccine. As a breeder I request of my new families not to have rabies administered until 6 or 7 months of age. I just know when my mom registered her dogs with the county she lives in they told her the dogs had to have a current Lyme vaccine because the illness was so common in the county (i can never remember if she lives in Delaware or morrow county ohio)
