Rabies is the only Core Vaccine required by law in any state, each city also suggests a time line factor, dependent on the number of cases of rabies that are being discovered. Lyme, Parvo, or Corona is not a Core Vaccine.

There is also an age requirement as to when pups are required to have their rabies vaccine. As a breeder I request of my new families not to have rabies administered until 6 or 7 months of age. Some vets understanding the adverse reaction the rabies can have on a Toy dog will work with you. Also, taking precautionary measures to reduce the possibility of a reaction.
