Default Tallulah met Santa tonight

Our local mall lets pets visit with Santa on Monday nights during the holidays so I bundled up Tallulah and we got in line - about half kiddies, half dogs. I expected it to be difficult - she is so fussy about anybody else touching her when I'm around, and absolutely refuses to let strangers touch her. She was in her little rolling carrier and barked at the kids in line most of the time we were waiting.

Well, I underestimated the magic of Santa (and it didn't hurt that she had used up all of her energy at Yorkie Camp). She went right into his arms and sat nicely for the entire time they were taking her picture. I was so proud of her (and so relieved). And I'm so happy with the photo. We came home, Toodles went straight to bed, and I had the photo uploaded to Walmart.com and my Christmas cards ordered for pick-up tomorrow afternoon within half an hour. Who would have thought it could be this easy?

Too bad I wasn't close enough to hear what she asked Santa to bring her for Christmas. Guess we'll both have to be surprised.
