Update:
Ok it has been a couple of hours. At first he rested, then he suddenly started to perk up a bit and started begging for food. I have cooked him some chicken and rice. In the meantime, he did get a hold of a few of his doggie kibble before I could get to him. That was about 45 minutes ago. Then he drank some water.
He has held it all down so far (fingers crossed). The rice is cooling and I will give him some soon.
he is now moving around a lot more and harassing me because he wants to sit in my lap while I'm on the computer!
