Both are fed prey model. Protein wise it is whatever I can get, but a lot of beef as I am able to get it pretty cheap from a coop that is locally. I also was able to get a deer, so they had venison yesterday.
I do think it is harder to prey model raw feed Piper (the Biewer) compared to Duke. But it is MUCH cheaper to feed Piper compared to Duke.
Have you tried just starting with chicken for a few weeks (I think that is what they suggest...). Luckily both Duke and Piper don't get upset tummies to easily, so I can easily switch proteins or introduce new easily, but I know when I first started they suggest just chicken for a while.
But maybe he has an allergy to chicken and thus the bloody stool?
Another option you could try to transit to raw would be to start with dehydrated/freeze dried or pre made raw and then slowly work in the meat.
