We were playing ball with one of her little squeaky soccer balls. I threw it down a long hall and it bounced off the wall and went into the air. When it came back down, she hit it in the air with her nose and it bounced into the air. At first I thought it was funny, but then I didn't hear anything. She had gone around a corner and I couldn't see her. Then I got a little scared. I said, "Kacee?" She came back to the end of the hall where I could see her and she looked sad. That was when I realized for certain that she hurt her nose. I told her to come to me and she did. I looked at her nose, but there wasn't any blood. She kept licking her mouth for a little while though. I told her I was sorry and hugged her. It always scares me so when I think she might be hurt. Needless to say, that was the end of our evening play session. I always feel so bad when she gets even the slightest bit hurt.
