Morgan is a cotton coat too. She is 4.5 years old now and isn't as black as she was when she was a puppy, but isn't steel blue either. Here are before and after pictures.
I too have TONS of products for her hair. Nothing will make it silkier or give it that shine of a silky coat. I like chris christensen clean start and after bath on her coat.
