Just a note: I believe most, if not all Yorkies do reverse sneezing, I've never heard of a connection between that and not doing well in surgery. I've had 3 done to date with no problems.

It is best if a reversible agent is used for anesthesia induction, and Servoflorane is newer but may cause more of a drop in the patient's temp. Isoflorane may be a better choice. Please discuss all options with your vet.
