I was just an unfinished CD cabinet, had 1 stable shelf in the middle which I moved lower and 4 additional moveable shelf. I put the one moveable shelf at the top. I used dowel rods for hanger rod. Took round wooden piece of wood, I found a Michael's and drilled out the center, finishen them to hold the rods and use screws to attach them.
It was actually easy, but a lot of work, like sanding, applying stain, then more sanding and final clear stain finish.
The CD cabinet was 58" tall, 26" wide and 11" deep and it works great for her stuff. Was great for me space wise in my sunroom too.
