And I definitely agree about waiting to place presents under the tree, or leaving ones that have consumables wrapped put away. One year we wrapped up some Dunkin Donuts coffee for my Grandfather (his FAVE lol) and my black lab nabbed the box. She sniffed around, stole it, and managed to get the paper off when we found her. They're amazing at finding things that have some sort of food, or something that is theirs.
