I got Belle a harness at Petco that looks like a little vest. It's pink striped and she steps into it and it has velcro tabs across the back plus at snap in hook and 2 D rings that the leash goes through, There is no way she can get out of it and it's great if you have to do an emergency lift to get away from a dangerous sitsuation.
