Have you checked the YTCA?

Oh, and I don't mean to be a kill joy, but a lot of the more reputable breeders might not let you take a puppy home on the holidays. Too much going on, too much foot traffic, too many germs... etc. It's best to wait after the holidays when things are calm and you and the pup have a chance to settle in with each other.
