He helped me too with my son's computer and was relatively inexpensive too. It does sound like you have some type of problem going on that needs to be addressed and removed from your computer. Don't ignore or put it off it will just lead to bigger issues.

Do you run Spybot? That a good program that stops registry changes in addition to your antivirus.
