I would just wake him up and play with him for awhile before you go to sleep. It's the puppy in him! I can still remember my lil Muffin would do the same thing. I'd be so tired and crawl in bed and she was jumping all over me and playing in bed. Kacee would do pretty much the same thing. They just need to burn the puppy energy before they go to sleep again. It doesn't last forever! Go ahead and read or watch a movie - just be sure to let him burn his energy before you try to go to bed for the night.
