There's no "right or wrong" per day. It all depends on your dogs body shape, etc. Jackson is 15lbs but he is very healthy, in shape and athletic. The Yorkie show "standard" is not to exceed 7lbs, but just because a Yorkie exceeds 7lbs, doesn't make them not a Yorkie... lots of them get bigger.

Jackson was 6lbs at 12 weeks old and is 15lbs at 2yrs old.
