Guess it takes all kinds. I'll toughen up here at some point I'm sure. No matter what if nothing else I learned it'll never take me 2 hours to get that No across. Seriously, I did come out and say a direct No...but then it was a "why?" response and I'd explain and it just went back and forth and I think I spent too much time trying to 'educate' the person and they probably took it as a "maybe- she's thinking about it" I've tried to analyze their motivations (well, other than getting a free pup - LOL) But I left the encounter thoroughly drained. Maybe cussing would have worked!! lol I'll let you know that with the next go-around!!! lol
