5 is a good sized litter but not overly so. As long as mom is getting premium puppy food and a calcium supplement she should be fine. I have never had a 1 ounce newborn -- but if that was the weight at birth, and it has more than doubled now to 2.2 ounces then that is a good increase. Since she has already been seen by the vet, I would think he would have discussed the low birth weight concerns. You will just have to be extra vigilant with her. Have the Nutrical drops handy. I would still be concerned with one that tiny at a week old. Some extra private feedings would not hurt.

I would put this over on the Breeder Talk forum to get mre input from the experienced breeders.
