I never mix puppy food with adult food . As soon as I know that my bitch is pregnant , I give her puppy food . No calcium until the puppies are born . A healthy bitch don't need all kind of supplements during pregnancy . In 10 days, Venus will have her pups and everyhings have been planned well in advance ( the vet have been noticed, supplies for the mom and pups , whelping box , surgical gloves , etc) , I would really hate running at the last minute because Venus will be the most important on this day , I will not have time for other things . |
