There are five puppies and have been Vet overseen and checked three days after birth - there are no cleft pallets and they had their dew claw removed. The birth weight was 1 to 2.3 so the two little ones have both doubled their birth weight - he weight I gave was not quite 6 days old. They are all moving around and either sleeping with all in a group or two or three close by and no one is left alone, or off by themselves. They all make movements when they sleep, grunt, and wag tails while nursing. They cry occasionally, move around and all over Zoie sometimes and make good sounds while nursing. I will follow a better schedule for weighing and keep eye on the smallest, but I also think it is me and the scale. Yes they are all gaining weight - one is almost standing up! Zoie and Zack are both just about 7 pounds each. |
