I am overprotective also. I also do not want my babies to be in their kennel for hours waiting to be groomed. ....So, when I make my appt, I make sure the groomer can get right to them and I wait. My babies are handed off to her and she takes them right back and grooms and then we switch and I give her another one. I usually watch so the pups cannot see me (they get anxious when they see me) and shop a little. I talked to the groomer before I ever started taking them and she fully understands what I want. Don't be afraid to ask and make sure the groomer knows what you want done.
