Poor baby! Can't help you out with this issue though - my Daisy was spayed at about 4 months old (a little young for a spay in fact) so she never had a heat. I hope she is ok. I do have a question - why didn't the vet know that she was in heat? I think that they should be able to tell but I could be wrong.
