Our Little Zoey was in heat 3 times and we didn't even know about the most recent untill we had her Spayed. We had Zoey Scheduled to be Spayed back in Sept as she became 6 months old unfortunately she went into heat and it seemed early but it was confirmed by the Vet. So we were told to wait several weeks untill after heat had passed. We returned from vacation and were having her scheduled to be spayed and she was in Heat AGAIN ! It was Crazy so the vet said Just schedule her for the 1st of the month 30 days later...Now we had he Spayed and as we get the Bill the Vet added $150.00 extra saying she was in heat and it was a more difficult spay since all of her organs were swollen.. All I can Say is She won't be in Heat again. But the recovery is slow and heartbreaking. She wants to stay right by our sides but has a hard time keeping up and is straining herself. So we have to slow down and stay in and let her heal... Has anyone ever heard of a dog being in Heat that often???
