The vendor not replying to your PM's would be my biggest concern. I can understand things being a little slow right now with the holidays but communication is still important. I would also review where you made the order (was it from a thread here or their own website?) -- look to see if they say how long to expect for shipping. There are some custom made products, where the vendors are warning on their website that they are taking 6-8 weeks to fill orders. If that is the case, then there is nothing to do but wait. They get backlogged, especially with a Gift Exchange and the holidays coming together.
If it was an item that is already made, and there were not comments on how long they would take to ship -- then I would expect it to at least be in the mail within 2 weeks. If this is the case, I would send one more PM putting some attention getting subject line like -- PLEASE ANSWER NOW! Then ask when the item was/will be shipped.
So, basically I am saying it all depends on what the item was and how you ordered it. Custom-made items may take a long time.
